Here’s finally the keyed! Thought it worth to open a topic!
I’ll keep trying it and post comments later on!
Enjoye!

Yes I removed the keys close up … since you never look at a flute from this close … it shows sratchs that you would’nt even notice from a normal view and I don’t want anybody to think that this flute is not a pure beauty!
Some Andrew should make a difference between a flute that cost around 1200 euros and a flute that cost several thousands …
You get what you pay for. And for 150 euros per keys added on the best poly flute I’ve never come across, I don’t mind some tiny work scrashs if the keys are efficients, well placed and most important: well tuned.
These keys are a lot more easy to reach and press than on the M&E I had last fall and they look a lot better.
Yes maybe that was a mistake to put some this close up pictures … cause this flute is really good looking, works perfectly, is in tune, light and very…very pleasing to play!
I would have hoped that $200 or 150 euros would buy a well made key, especially if supplies in suites.
How does one tune keys ?
What of defective looking posts ?
Actually, I’m on the list for a Hamilton 6 keyed body and foot … and I must say that, for the price these keys are (235 euros per post mounted), I would expect perfect keys only then … but for 150 … I just ask them to be well placed, and in tune.
And my Seery, been my very first flute, would be my backup flute when I receive the Hammy.
And actually, between you and me, it’s a pretty darn good backup!
The images of the keys remind me very much of the keys on my 6-key M&E.
They have never given me any trouble at all–they work well, consistently, every time, and they fit my hands well. I don’t mind that they have a bit of a “homemade” look.
The keys on my Hamilton don’t look “homemade;” they show wonderful craftsmanship and each key is its own work of art.
They don’t actually work any better than the keys on the M&E, but they are much prettier.
There is one other consideration: I waited two years to go from keyless Hamilton to fully keyed.
I waited three weeks to go from keyless M&E to fully keyed…one week to send the flute back to Ireland, one week in his workshop, one week to make it back to me.
I agree with James about the M&E keys. My keys work perfectly as well. I have Michaels own, hand made sterling keys just like James. Just based on comments by others it seems like the Pakistani keys he normally uses are not as good, but then he charges $420 for six keys. The hand-made keys are not really listed as an option, but I didn’t pay any extra for mine.
