I am forced to sell my 1 month old, 6-key, Rudall Rose, key of D, M&E flute. The flute has excellent tone and the keywork is very nice. It has the new improved keys and improved decorative bands. Also included is one of M&Es wooden cases.
I paid $855 and will sell for best offer over $775. I will cover insured shipping in the USA.
I’m having throat surgery and don’t want to take money from savings to cover the deductible. Besides which, I may or may not be able to play flute for some time afterward.

Thanks Kevin. It is a terrific instrument and will be missed. It is, however, my most replaceable flute (assuming nothing bad happens to Mike Cronnolly). His waiting list is only a few months.

I have obstructive sleep apnea, which is to say, I snore like a buzz saw and often stop breathing when I’m asleep (that’s a bad thing). For the last ten years or so I’ve used a positive-pressure ventilator (C-Pap machine) to keep my airway open at night but it’s kind of a miserable ordeal. The surgery I’m having will remove some of my soft palate and hopefully relieve the problem. We’ll see. I hope that it doesn’t goof up my airstream and embouchre.
