WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CREATE A WORLD RECORD IN ST. LOUIS!

Come out to the Grand Opening of the Shoppes at Cross Keys in Florissant, MO and help make music history as we attempt to set a new Guinness World Record™ for the

Largest Electronic Keyboard Ensemble in the World!

Following an opening ceremony on September 25th, we will stage a media event that features a Billy Joel Impersonator conducting a synchronized performance of over 100 keyboard players, playing in unison to the world famous tune, “Piano Man”. The piano players, along with their keyboards, will be placed on the parking lot in the shape of an oversized piano. This will all be captured on video & audio tape that will be submitted for a Guinness World Record™!!

When: Saturday, September 25, 2004
Where: Shoppes at Cross Keys
(Corner of New Halls Ferry Rd. and Lindbergh in Florissant)
Time: All participants must arrive at 9:00 a.m. for rehearsal at 9am with world record attempt begining at 11am

Requirements:
. You must bring your own electronic keyboard
. Each Participant must be able to play Piano Man, by Billy Joel (Sheet Music Available upon request) .
All participants must sign a waiver to be eligible for the record attempt . All participants are asked to wear a white shirt and khaki pants.

Oh, I WISH!

I would do this without hesitation, honestly… “Piano Man” is one of the few tunes I picked up on keyboard by ear (melody line, anyway), and I probably wouldn’t have too much trouble picking up the rest…

If it weren’t for the fact that the gathering is in Missouri, and I’m in Louisiana. Hubby & I would be coming home from a trip to Denver, CO around the 20th, and to get to something else for the 25th…that’s just too not possible… :cry:

That sounds an awful lot about that Southpark episode where they were going to have the world’s largest third grade recorder ensemble. For those that arn’t familure, several thousand third graders are to meet to play recorder together. Cartman finds a secrete super low note that causes people to get spontaneous diareah when they hear it. I think they use sort of a bass clarinet sound for the note, which of course doesn’t exist, except in the Southpark cartoon. Anyhoo, he steals the music, puts in the note, with the fingering, and causes thousands to have instantaeous diareah when the note is played during the record breaking ensemble. Some other stuff happens too. I think Kenny dies. They have trouble with some big-city kids as a sub plot.
Is it something like that?
