Does anyone have the dimentions of Kevin Thompson’s reeds?
The original reed he made for my chanter seems to be slightly wider and the “V” is longer - 1 inch - than what seems to be the standard (if such a thing exists).
Unfortunately, when the original reed finally broke (with a little help from an enthusiastic novice piper), I disassembled it and reassembled it without noting the position of the staple/slips, etc. My replacement reeds are all slightly sharp.
