Kerry Pro Alto f tunable

I was wondering how you guys like the Kerry Pro Alto f tunable whistles that phil hardy makes. Give me your opinions on the whistles and if they have the shine as a NR Chieftain.
cheers

Dunno the F, only the Low D + Eb.

These are very much like the NR Chieftain, except tougher: more back-pressure, even jazzier sound. Clog if you whisper. Not “easy players”, and thusly loud, not for the shy player. Nor for your den if you don’t live alone. And IMO, however blasphematory, as good–and in the same way–as a very good Overton. Blind test would make it hard to tell them apart.

couldn’t say either, only since today I’ve got a NR CHieftain lowF. It is really faboulus (damn, how do you spell that word?).

As far as I know, the Kerry Pros are no longer made.

I have a Low D, and I like it.

As Nico says, Phil doesn’t make Kerry Pros any longer. NR Chieftains are probably quite close in sound and playing characteristics, though.

I have two tunable KP low whistles. The low D is reasonably nice, and I enjoy playing it. The low F is probably my favorite low whistle ever…
