Does anybody here ever listen to her?
I’ve always liked her music. Her voice is so rich and expressive. I wish she would sing ITM. I think her voice would work rather well…

Have been really enjoying her last album - an outstanding cover of one of my all time favourite songs, Jonis "A case of You"is a highlight.
Her earlier masterpiece “All you can eat” ranks right up there in my top ten albums.

Well, it’s true. I’ve always thought k.d. Lang sounded like Bart Simpson, in a good way. I love the song “Big Boned Gal”…also her live cover of “Don’t Smoke In Bed.” She does that song like nobody else. My spine tingles when I listen to that song.

Actually, I meant the live version of “My Last Cigarette”, not “Don’t Smoke In Bed” (similar names…but I still like both)
The part where there is no music and you wonder if the song is over, then she starts singing. I listen to that over and over and over because I just feel like I am there. It’s such a good thing.
I changed it back, just for you. 
The country music aspect of her work is my least favourite

I saw Tony Bennet sing with her live once (on TV). I really liked it. I like her country (country “ish” would probably be better) a lot. I wouldn’t call her a cowgirl, though. I’d call her a cowboy (in a good way).

K.D. is a tremendous singer/songwriter. I confess I haven’t heard much from her since ‘Constant Cravings’ was popular, but I truly enjoy her music. Didn’t she (along with a few other musical greats) perform with Roy Orbison shortly before his death? I seem to recall watching the video of the concert with her being in it.
It’s quite possible. She performs a lot. She’s one of those (rare) people who can and does sing just about every genre and is good at it.

I was fortunate enough to see her several times before she got really popular, in venues ranging from a small theater, to a beer garden in a hockey rink, to a rodeo dance…she got everyone up and dancing…her version of Johhny get angry was a signature piece, she would sing it and pretend to be taking punches until she collapsed on the floor…and she would lay there…and lay there…and lay there…and lay there…until we made enough noise to rouse her into finishing the song…she has such power in her voice…
Yup… she’s pretty remarkable … I enjoyed the show with Orbison too.
