Ok, not whistle, but music, so I hope the administrators let me slide here. I just heard her sing Hallelulah which she did at the opening ceremonies and I could listen to that for a very long time…mesmerizing.

Couldn’t agree more.
K.D. has a wonderful “whistle” to blow her great artistry through!
Only hours ago, I was agreeing with someone, that her performance was the “best part of the Opening Ceremony.”
I’ll, um, whistle to that.
It’s from Hymns of the 49th Parallel, in which she sings some of the classic Canadian songbook*. It’s a lovely recording; when I first got it, I played it more or less non-stop for a while. They’re all good, but Hallelujah is the best. I much prefer this version to the Jeff Buckley version that gets all the praise.
*Songs by L. Cohen, N. Young, J. Mitchell, etc.
It does seem that her tastes have changed since the Calgary Olympics.
