Just ordered a Copeland D!

Wow! I can’t wait. I called Copeland Whistles and left a message on Thursday. Wasn’t I surprised when Michael Copeland himself called back the next day. I asked him if he had any silver D’s in stock. He wasn’t sure if they had any. Well, he described the different sounds of the different metals and I talked myself into a brass one.

He said that he was just finishing a batch that day, so it should be here soon. Like I said… I can’t wait! :slight_smile: This will be my first NICE whistle. I am sure that this one will fuel the addiction most heartily and undoubtably lead to the acquisition of many more. :slight_smile:

High D. Although I simply MUST have a low D at some point. Amazing instrument.

Avanutria… I have tried to go into the chatroom, but it doesn’t seem to work. I went and downloaded the software and all but when I go in I can’t see any posts.

I have a brass and a nickel Copeland D and far and away prefer the sound of the nickel.

It was a matter of what was readily available. Plus, in our chat he said that he keeps going back to his brass one for sessions and whatnot. It sounded like it is his favourite one so I figured if it’s good enough for him…

Yeah, we saw you popping in and out but couldn’t do anything to help you. Sometimes netscape gives problems, if you were using that, or you might want to download an IRC client. I think some of the gang use one called BersIRC.
