If anybody keeps up with the board like I do they will know that I go to a music festival called the Walnut Valley Festival (WVF) in Winfield, KS (hence the loose term “Winfield”). Anyways, it wasn’t as good as it usually is, as some performers weren’t able to be there…for obvious reasons. Anyways, I met a few whistlers and I was just wondering if any of them were you guys. I think that’s the festival I see advertised in my Autoharp magazine … were there lots of Autoharpers there ?

Yes, there were quite a few harper’s there. They have a national championship for autoharp, among other things like flat-pick guitar, finger-pick guitar, hammered dulcimer, banjo…you get the idea. There is no whistle contest though…yet!! Anyways, being located where you are on the map I guess I probably won’t see at Winfield any time soon. Bye!!
