Just for fun - what does YOUR avatar mean?

Hi! I peruse this board all the time and I love how everyone’s avatar becomes very recognizable after seeing it a hundred times. Pretty much every regular is easily identifiable by just looking at their avatar. So…what does yours mean?
Mine, just recently updated, is part of the Sri Lankan flag because that’s where I’m from.

i just like this show =

I truly believe that my ancestors lived in trees. (They may even have favored blackwoods).

Mine is a pic of a street kid leaning against a boat. I don’t know that it says much about me other than that I don’t want him or any others to feel marginalized.

My avatar reflects two of my interests: Music (Low Whistles a lot) and Leopard Geckos. Well, I do need to change it, possibly, because I no longer raise geckos (wife got too frustrated with the insects to feed them) although I still am interested in them. I now raise orchids and she likes that a LOT better.

Mine means that I’m too lazy to upload one.

Love it!
Keep posting!

That’s…kinda gross :boggle:

Mine is just a photo of a nearby waterfront. I’m not even sure it conveys the same image in a thumbnail, could be people viewing my avatar are wondering, what the heck is that?

But it is one of my favorite places to hang out.

i breed those  cool, i might have to steal that avatar after you are done with it. :stuck_out_tongue:

He’s Casper, (possibly) a husky-border collie cross in all his beautiful blue-eyed glory.

Now staring balefully at me from across the room, because I suck and I’m being boring.

That’s an African pygmy hedgehog – partly rolled up with just the face showing. Make good little pets when your family members are allergic to dogs and cats. My life revolved around one of these when I first joined C&F and I have been too lazy to change it.

This is a more normal view:

What are the care requirements?

Mine is a device of Elven heraldry that I invented myself in the style of the ones Tolkien did for the various kings and Houses of elves in his mythology (ala The Silmarillion). Link</a](http://www.forodrim.org/gobennas/heraldry/heraldry.htm">Link</a)>

I could go on and on, but here are a few considerations.

You have to keep them warm. (They did originate in Africa.) Otherwise they hibernate and that’s not safe for domesticated hedgehogs.

In the wild they travel miles each night hunting insects, so they need a really good exercise wheel. I had to build one with ball bearings since normal ones wear out too fast. Other activity is also good.

The right diet is important – but I guess that’s true for all pets.

I’m not really sure what mine means.

Mine pretty much speaks for itself.

I’m a blockhead with a dark cloud over me and nothing ever seems to go my way.

RATS!

bore us!

That reminds me. I need to change mine.
