Hey Everyone,

Reading KC’s recent post about his harmonica gig got me thinking. Would there be any way to create a database on the website somewhere to keep people informed or upcoming gigs by C&F members? I don’t think it would be that hard, all you would need is a city, date, place, and time. And the members themselves could update it. This database could include local sessions too.

I think this would be a great way to get out and meet other people from the board, and also to support our friends in a business that is fickle at best.

Any suggestions? Is this possible? Like I said, this is just an idea, but I think it could work out.

First off, good idea.
Easiest way I can think of is to add another forum to the board for chiffers to post their gigs on, put the location and date of gig in the subject line, any other details (like cost of ticket, etc.) in the message.
so you could just hit the “gig forum” really quick first, and see if theres any local chiffers playing

Excellent idea, and excellent suggested improvement.

The FAQ file should indicate clearly what info should go into the subject line in a standard format, including State or Country.

More work for Dale & Rich, but much more rewarding than policing spats.
