I didn’t see a posting clips section here, but I have recently gotten back into playing the whistle and thought I’d post this little sample. let me know what you think… I don’t bruise easily…

I think the first thing you should do is go out and get a whistle with lower air consumption or more backpressure. You’re stopping just about every phrase to take a huge gasp of air. As for the slow waltz thing, why not, but I’d lose the drooping long notes.

i enjoyed it. phrasing felt okay. ornaments ok. tempo seemed to wander a bit… all things considered… i enjoyed it. thanks for posting it.

Have you taken it down already Arbo? I can’t access it.

Sorry, I wanted to re-record it with the phrasing suggestions and breathing. Perhaps tonight I shall give it another go. I don’t imagine it will be much different that the first.
