Join me in the 50 out of 62 practice challenge

Do you want to create a practice habit . Here is a way to get some momentum . Join me in practicing your instrument (any instrument for your Irish music) or practice your vocals 50 days in December and January. Any 50 days, does not have to be consecutive. When I say practice, it could literally mean just one minute. The idea is that one minute could lead to ten or more minutes . There are 62 days in December and January combined. So that will be fifty times out of the sixty- two available days that you pick up your instrument and play for at least one minute. The purpose here is to establish a practice habit, not go deep in your learning. Each week I will ask if anyone would like to report out there weekly stats!

If you want to add a little habit science, you could also tie your practice habit to another triggering action: Example: as soon as I get home I will play, as soon as dinner is over I will play, or when the kids have gone to sleep I will play.

Please reply if you are interested. I will post this in all of the instrument categories. Thanks! Brian (Ieedbjp)

Hey @eedbjp Brian! That’s a great and fun challenge. Moving this to the Poststructural pub as it is inclusive of all instruments. Your other posts will be removed so that there is one cohesive thread for folks to join you in. Best of luck on the challenge!

Thanks for doing that!
