These two sets of tunes were recorded in 2005, during the Causeway Dulcimer Festival at the Giant’s Causeway Concert.
As a Fiddler, I always love tuning my Fiddle down to play with Flat Pipes, especially with great musicians like John.
Speed the Plough / Hand me down the Tackle
&
When Sick is it Tea you want / Down the Back lane

Thanks for posting those, Dick…I haven’t seen John for years
(last time was in my kitchen!!!)
I spotted a nice foto of another friend, Trevor Stewart playing his silver plated Rogge concert set in the first clip.
Boyd
Thanks for posting those links, I hadn’t seen those before.
Cheers,
Dick
Aye Boyd, Trevor does pop in, but only once in a while.
However his visits are always a treat, especially as they usually mean we end up with Scottish Smallpipes, Northumbrian & Uilleann on the menu.
Cheers,
Dick
What a great sound (nice tunes, too). Thanks for sharing the clips!
