I’ve just been listening (again) to the Ceili House interview of Joe Shannon by Peter Browne recorded in 1992 (found now on uilleanobsession). The interview features Joe Shannon’s Taylor set. Sounds great. Then he plays one tune on his own - the swallow’s tail. Beautiful piping. Even more amazing, Shannon was 76 when this was recorded.
