I would like to learn more about this particular terrific piper (I recently heard some home-recorded tunes of him from the early '80s), who seems to have gone under the radar. Anyone have any info on him? Youtube stuff? Recordings?

I invited him to play at a Providence tionol some years ago, but he’s a busy dentist, and couldn’t make it. He was a little surprised that I’d heard of him (this was before Drones & Chanters 2). I wonder if they’re the same tapes I got from Jamie Gans back in the 1980s, of Joe, and his brother Dermot on fiddle?
