Joanie Madden The Level Plain

Does anyone have the music for this or know where I can find it??!! Help! I’m short on time and a little lazy about figuring it out myself!!
Thanks for any help.

Sometimes I wonder if filling a request like this does more harm than good. But it took literally all of 2 minutes to transcribe. So …

Why are you short on time?? Just wondering.

It’s that whole get up, take a shower, iron a shirt, get dressed, grab some breakfast, pick up the keys to the camper van, dash out the door, then you think to yourself, “Oh no, I forgot to transcribe “The Level Plain” as played by Joanie Madden”. We’ve all been there.

Joanie starts on a B and plays in the key of G - otherwise the song is right (melody-wise). I just checked on “Songs of the Irish Whistle”.

Pat

Yes, that’s right, Pat … but in the transposed key of D on a G whistle (as noted, and now clarified  ). See Dale’s interview with Joanie:

“I think my favorite low whistle is the G. I used it to play the Level Plain on Song of the Irish Whistle album …”

In the transposed key of D, the starting note is F#, as transcribed. But it does fall pretty nicely in G on a D whistle, too. So for Pat …

I like the higher version a little better for some reason.
