DJM, Jerry’s new CD, O’Sullivan Meets O’Farrell, is now available at CDBaby – 1-800 Buy-My-CD or contact them at CDBABY@CDBABY.Com. You can also contact OSSIAN at http://www.ossianusa.com/ for the CDs. Jerry is finishing up his own upgraded website and pretty soon the CD will be available there (through CDBABY.) The CD comes with a 26-page booklet with essays by Jerry, Brian McCandless on O’Farrell, a review and commentary by Earl Hitchner (Wall Street Journal, Irish Echo) and extensive track notes on the music. Attendees at the East Coast Tionol this weekend can look for Seth Gallagher, who is bringing along a supply of the CDs. The booklet contains images of O’Farrell and other period pipers and Uilleann pipes. As Mr. O’Farrell himself said, “The Union Pipes being an instrument now so much improved as renders it able to play any kind of music.” Except, I think, the music I am trying to play!

Thanks, Pipey. Neither web site seems to be aware of it yet. I’ve written CDBaby to shake their tree. Perhaps release was detained waiting for the big splash at the East Coast Tionol (media exposure, press releases, paparazzi, screaming mobs of young girls, etc. - the usual for a new UP CD).

Nice one, DJM…but not unless Seth Gallagher jumps out of the CD Carton
in a revealing NPU outfit. Actually, ever the diplomat, Jerry doesn’t want to crash the party and upstage any guests or performers. BTW Jerry says the CDs are at Ossian so you could call them and CD Baby should have received their shipment. It should be on their websites pretty soon. Best,
