Does any one know if Jerry Freeman is OK?
A week ago I ordered one of his whistles from ebay, and I haven’t heard from him or received the whistle. I sent him an email through the ebay system and another one to his email address, and got no response from either.
This is the first time I have ordered from him and every thing I have read says that he is a great guy to deal with. It just seems odd that there is no reply.

I was wondering that too. But he did post in the pub yesterday. He’s probably just very busy, or doing a temporary timeout. Not to worry.
He posted on this board as recently as Wednesday. He may be
having internet issues. Or (God forbid…) the Summertime blues.

I’ve flagged your emails, was trying to get a batch of orders in the mail today, then email you and a couple of others that your whistles are on the way.
Today was full of unexpected things needing urgent attention (not uncommon here), and the current batch of whistles won’t go out until tomorrow. I use Priority Mail for U.S. orders, which usually takes two or three business days.
I prefer to respond to emails asking about whether/when a whistle’s sent, with the information that the whistle is on the way, even if that means delaying my response to the email for a day or two. If I tell someone their whistle will be sent on such-and-such day, I create stress for myself and potential annoyance for the customer, since the demands on my attention are sufficiently unpredictable, I may or may not be able to do what I lead them to expect.

Good to hear from you Jerry. As my cheque to you was cashed and I didn’t get a reply to my email I was beginning to wonder what was happening. Onwards and upwards… Good things are worth waiting for.
