I have a tweaked Shaw A whistle. It’s still quite breathy, as Shaws are, but Jerry’s tweaking makes it sound very sweet, and it’s much easier to play.

Hello, Where did you guys find your Freeman modified Shaw’s? I’ve been looking for a while, do you know if there are any still out there?

Sadly I don’t think Jerry tweeks Shaw whistles any more.

I do still tweak Shaw whistles, but I don’t sell them any more because of the higher cost of the whistle to start with.

I’ll tweak Shaws in the key of C and higher for $19.00 plus shipping. Keys of Bb and lower Shaws have metal covering the block, which prevents me from making some of the necessary adjustments, so I don’t do them. You can purchase a Shaw whistle at www.elderly.com.
