Jérôme Thibouville Lamy

A friend of mine has a flute which he got from his grand-father. It’s said to be about 100 years old, it’s made of dark wood and the keys are Boehm system with open ring keys. The only visible crack is on the cap that covers the end-cork, so I guess that would not influence playing. I could only play a B and medium C as the key pads are all leaking and they are partly stuck. The sound was very nice nevertheless. The flute has not been played nor looked after for decades. Now, as I want a wooden Boehm flute but will never be able to spend 9000 USD for a new flute, I try to convince my friend to sell that flute to me. What could the value be? And who could do a good repair job on such a flute (in Europe)? Any other information about this kind of flute is welcome. thanks

P.S.: of course “Jérôme Thibouville Lamy” is the name of the flute maker.
