Has anyone been in touch with, or received whistle/s from him lately? My order is long overdue, and he does not reply to emails..
I am fine with work overload/delays for whatever reason, but this “radio silence” worries me. I just hope he’s alright.
Never mind, got a reply today. Glad it wasnt something serious!
Haha.. I can identify with the original post right now. Oh well, a good instrument is well worth the wait, and the anticipation just makes it all the better when it finally arrives!
Also, I’m interested to hear what you think of this whistle after you recieve it.
As i wrote, i was more concerned with his health and well being. I still remember Jörgen Fischer ordering a full set of uilleann pipes from Johnny Bourke, and when he called to confirm delivery he was told Johnny had died.. 
Luckily Donncha Keegan, his apprentice at the time finished the set for him.
Anyway, contact is re-established, nad i will tell you all about the whistle when the time comes
