IZZY HAS BEEN BIZZY.

oooOOOoooo…now that lounge is SWANK! I think I’m going to like being here…that and the bathrooms make it totally worth it

Paul, I don’t think you’d like my old jacket…Scottie found it for me (I think it was scottie…it’s been a while now), and it’s PINK . It’s probably more suited to amar

Oh, I thought this was a birth announcement!!

Robin

 Not quite yet…my due date isn’t until November 11th. So I have a bit of time. Plus if you add on my tendency to go late, I more than likely won’t have this wee one until near the end of Nov. I’m just glad I have the names all picked out. One less thing to worry about

Hang on till the 17th..that’s my birthday as well

Slan,
D.

Does that mean I’ll have to name the baby after you if I have him (or her) on the 17th? Dubhlinn Mary seems rather odd you know

True enough but then again, I am a bit odd you know :stuck_out_tongue:

Slan,
D.

Aren’t we all! I’m actually into what would be considered odd names…here anyway. My oldest daughter’s middle name is “Thisbe” (Roman Mythology inspired), and I get really funny looks over “Finbar”, which is #9’s first name. It’s obviously not a common name here in the US.

It would be a brave man to give this Finbar a funny look

Slan,
D.

 Yes it would! And it would be a truly evil man to give THIS Finbar a funny look…after all, he’s so darn cute (at least in my HUMBLE opinion  )

I get nothing but the big red X.

On the one of MY Finbar? Wait…let me see if this will fix it

Is that better, Tom?

That did it.

He is a very cute young man.

Tom

Thank you Tom  I think he’s pretty darn cute too, but you know…the whole “biased” thing

Yeah, it’s tough not to be biased when you are the parent.

He has classic “chipmunk cheeks.”

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz…

Huh? Wha…

Oh. Congrats, Izz! Man, there are an abundance of 2Kers of late.

Hmm. Not to hijack, but should that be “is” rather than “are”?

Hmmm…I’m not sure. I would tend to think “are” would be the appropriate word, because you are speaking in the plural. But “is” does SOUND correct in a way, doesn’t it. Sheesh…it’s too hot to think. Nano, why did you ask that?

The object of the verb is “abundance”, which is singular.

“There is an abundance.”
“There are abundances.”

Bleh…you’re right. I should have thought of that, actually. I was an English major before I decided to become a Biology major in college :stuck_out_tongue: I have an excuse, though. I’m pregnant. No pregnant woman should be held accountable for grammatical errors

I is just a injuneer.

And I wouldn’t dream of holding a pregnant woman accountable for grammatical errors (especially during delivery).
