I finally got a chance to put my new belllows to the test last night. WHat a difference!!! I can’t believe how much pumping I NO LONGER have to do. It took a good while before I got into the new pumping regime in order to stop my bag from nearly exploding…well not quite, but the poor ol’ reed took a batterng from all that extra air and tight, non-leaky bellows, with D, C# and even B collapsing under the pressure a couple of times - and it’s a fairly strong reed!!!. At last I can play much longer between bellows pumps.
Tell me about it. I can’t realistically play my practice set that I made because of issues I have with the bellows I made. The errors I made are obvious to me now, and I can appreciate the work that professional makers put into their work. I patiently wait for Ray Sloan to start on my practice set. Glad to hear things are going well for you. As a side note, I did notice you have a Live Journal; that’s very cool.
take care,

Uummm,…I’m not sure. I do have a website, and blog I started a while back and have since forgotten about. Are either of them a ‘live Journal’? Sorry if I’m not too sure.
