If anyone here was involved in putting on the Peoria, IL Erin Feis '04, or knows someone who was, someone needs to have a serious talk with their publicity chairman.
It looks to have been a nice show with some great bands. And, only 70 miles from my front door, I’d have loved to go. The only problem is that the event was from August 27-29, and the circular they mailed to my address arrived today (September 7).
I wonder how many other potential participants didn’t learn of it until te days after it ended.
I’d have gone to it also, but heard about it just now after reading your post! Is there a list to get on for notification? (Ha! Like that will help if they send out the flyer the day before the fest…)
My getting the flyer in the mail suggests that I WAS on the list. But as you say, notification doesn’t do any good if it doesn’t arrive until a week and a half AFTER the event.
