Iāve been reading about Robās flutes. How is the fit/finish on yours? A quick review maybe? 
The Forbes I got was one of the newer ones with the knotwork embossed on the head. I have been enjoying it like no other, and have sold off itās predecessors. The material has an interesting pattern to it and the joints fit like precision machinery. Rob was out of cork grease the day mine shipped, and he applied a bit of vaseline to the o-ring seals. It fits so nice, thatās all I use now.
ā¦ I do plan to purchase a keyed flute in the future as funds allow; but I donāt foresee replacing my Forbes with anything else. Itās honkinā good fun to play and provides the sounds I like! Search the forum - youāll find quite a few comments from others about this flute.
