Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t mention the choir from Calvary Episcopal Church, Santa Cruz (the program did, though!). We sang with St. Andrew’s choir in the Mozart Vespers (I actually got my name on a line by itself in the program, as the lone Calvary alto!).

Mozart’s Solemn Vespers really is a wonderful work. We only had about two weeks prep on it, so it was a bit daunting to sing today, but it came off well, and the audience was appreciative. The symphony’s rendition of the Bruckner piece was quite lovely too.
Quote for the day: “You can always tell the classical singers…they’re the ones in the full-length formals and the ugly (i.e., comfortable enough to stand in for 45 minutes) shoes!”
