Yep, it’s a gadget for trimming the tips of single reeds. I have one for trimming alto sax reeds. Very handy. ![]()

Well, not only did I guess correctly, but I (apparently) now know how to spell Mohel. All these years, I though it was moil or perhaps moyel.
