IS there Anyone near Montrose Colorado??

If anyone near Montrose Colorado, and is interested in playing a session in Town Square, after the St. PAtricks parade (Sat MArch 15th) please contact me by Email.

I am trying to do up the parade a little bigger, and more outragous than average this year. This includes Throwing MArdi Gras style beads in the parade, whilst wearing a little more festive than average attire. It also includes (hopefully) having some live music in the square afterward.

Don’t know of anyone that lives near Montrose itself. McChastain has a store up in Greeley, and there are quite a few players in the Denver area. Maybe one or more of them would be willing to drive down for it?

Mack Hoover, that fine whistlemaker, lives in the Grand Junction area. He would probably be the closest to you. He’s a great guy to meet & play with, as well, so you could certainly invite him.

I believe they have their own St. Patrick’s Day parade, though, in G.J. So you might be out of luck, for an after-parade Montrose session …

We have a huge parade, here in Denver, followed by several dances, so I could not even consider a trip all the way out to Montrose.

'luck now,

Actually.. I am well aware of Mack. I was visiting his shop just a few days ago. I just figured that I would put out feelers everywhere possible.

I am in Montrose and play the whistle and bodhran. Just sent you an e-mail…
