I ordered a whistle from Mike Burke several months ago and have not heard from him about the whistle. I have tried to contact him by phone and email. Does anyone know if he is still making whistles?
I also noticed his internet site no longer works???
I contacted Michael a couple of weeks ago with a question about his brass whistles. He sent a lengthy reply providing excellent information on pros and cons of various whistles. In the mean time his website has crashed and of late my emails have been unanswered. So, yes he is still making whistles and graciously responding to emails. This week is probably a bad time to expect a quick response.
I had sent a repair in to him and got it back two weeks ago- took about a month or so

I have written the Touristnm who posted this thread. I do try to answer every email and may have somehow missed their email. We sometimes are slow to answer voicemails, so emails are usually very reliable ways to get questions answered. Things have been crazy and I must have not seen this one in the spam.
If anyone has not received a whistle and the order is over two weeks old, it is because it is not in stock. We send a confirming email that the order is received, or rather did so until our host’s hard drive died and he did not even back up our website files and we lost the whole thing.
There is a lot going on right now, with trying to get the website back up and trying to keep up with orders and repairs, so we really appreciate the patience of everyone that is waiting for a new whistle or repair. We will get it done just as soon as we can.
Thanks again for your patience. We are very much in business and our new website will be much bigger and better than the old one and our service will be improved too, when we get past this trying time.

My public gratitude to Mike for three years whistling a Burke. I get much more than I paid.
About a month ago I needed a C whistle in a week for a performance. I exchanged a few emails with Michael picking out one he had in stock, and received the whistle a few days later.
The whistle, btw, is superb.
