Is it hard to buy new copeland D whistle ? is it valuable?

I have an opportunity to buy a new nickel high D Copeland whistle from the maker as a gift for someone. Is it a good purchase for someone who enjoys whistle?

Yes.

to expand on the above:

Yes, very yes, but please send it to me first to i can… erm… check its not poisioned… or somthing. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have just the whistle

Now if someone had given it to me as a gift

I would have loved 'em for ever

YES, I have a Copeland nickel high D #3049 key of D and it is a keeper. Only glitch, it was not a gift, I paid for it.

My other glitch. We live in Texas. Vikings won over the Cowboys. Since I grew up in Minnesota, and Texas I cheered for the Vikings today. The Saints won. We are still in the game. My wife is from Indiana so two weeks from now. Come on Colts.

Your friend will bless you forever!

The couple I’ve tried have been quite loud, if that’s a concern…

Hi aronia, I would get down on the floor and bow down towards Ireland and quietly murmur, “I am not worthy, I am not worthy…” for many hours.

Thank you all for replying. I bought the whistle last night , it is for someone I love and he is going through a very hard time, so I was hoping to surprise him. But he told me today he likes brass…so I just hope he will not be disappointed.

… you know im going through quite a hard time…

but seriously though, a wonderfull thought, and he should love it.

the difference between a brass and a nickel copeland is like the difference between beluga caviar in a tin and beluga caviar in a jar. In the end, it’s still caviar.
