No it’s a traditional whistle from Kyrgyzstan a friend of mine brought back from his home town. Theres a hole underneath as well, no it’s not just under it’s tail. Just thought I’d share it with you guys.

It’s a sweet potato. so it’s vegetable. It’s clay so it’s mineral. Either fish or otherwise it’s animal. And it is traditional for sure, but is it a whistle?

An ocarina? schocked… Now, congratulations… You just made me think of “Zelda and the tasty-fish-flute of time” … (For those who don’t know what it is, Zelda is a game based on the ocarina) 
But I agree with ctilbury, a sound clip would be nice. At least playing the scale up and down.
Hi guys, sorry for the delay! Been looking for a mic for my PC but all I could find was a phone handle thingy so the sound isn’t great. You’ll need to put the volume up a fair bit. Anyway I don’t think it’s in tune cause I’m finding it hard to get a scale out it going in any logical order. I haven’t a clue what way the scale is even supposed to go on this thing. Here’s a little sound clip of it and part of the closest thing I could get to a scale.
