Is B usually sharp on a flute?

My flute is pretty well in tune except for the note B which is quite sharp (high and low). However, the cross-fingered C-natural 0XX000 is very good, so I’m wondering if this is a trade-off of that nice c-nat.

Is this usual?

What type of flute?
Might help someone that knows something.

Depends on just how sharp “quite sharp” is.

On simple-system flutes, it is not uncommon for D, F-sharp, and C-sharp to be somewhat flat, and for A and B to be somewhat sharp, as measured on the digital tuner.
