Just a quick word for anyone who might be interested in Singing in Salou, Spain for the remainder of the summer. It’s the same lad who was looking for a Piper and fiddle player if any of you remember. The band is going very well and there are people dancing on the chairs!! A bit hecktic at times but good fun all the same.
Anyway there’s an Irish bar where a friend of mine manages and he’s interested in getting someone in to entertain. He’s a good lad and the details he gave me goes as follows; 120euros per night for at least 5 nights per week. Accomadation supplied and of course free beer. The work starts tommorow or A.S.A.P if you could be here by then and he’s looking for someone with a good range and knowledge of Irish ballads and music in general. If you can play other music that would be a bonus but not important. It’s entertaining people on holidays so you will have to play the usuall Wild rover, whiskey in the jar, fairytale in Newyork etc. So that’s the deal if you or anyone you know might be interested. It’s good craic and good people to work for as I’ve worked for them myself and I know the conditions are good.
