I heard today (from a reliable source) that Davy Spillane is so burnt out on piping that he is giving up playing and performing…so, bottom line, we won’t have poor ole’ Davy to kick around anymore! 
If that is true, then Davey might not want to leave his suitcase in a New York hotel room, like some other burnt out aging musician

Ah, but is he giving up producing? And will he still be making whistles that look suspiciously like ..er .. whatever?
I think there’s still scope.
Over(a)ton of words have been typed on this man and he still makes news when he isn’t playing or going to play because he is burnt out and he is probably half the age of Paddy Maloney who just won’t quit playing or touring.
Time to retire to the workshop and make whistles I guess
