Interest in video clips from Grand Junction?

Hey guys -

Mack sent me a video that he took at the Grand Junction fest and I am preserving some of it in digital format. If anyone is interested I can post clips online but they will be rather big.

here’s a sample:

When you play it, you can set the window size to 200% and it still looks decent.

Let me know if there is any interest in seeing more…

WHERE’S MY CUTE IRISH DANCERS??? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m working on it, Mr. Sunday morning session!!

EDIT - OK got it captured. Hop on messenger at some point for a VERY large file! LOL

Hey, that IS nice. Yeh, I’d like to see some more (and what is the name of the tune you’re playing?)

Bob

For want of a better name, I call it Tom’s Air. Its origins are somewhat blurry to me and I spend my days hoping it is not copyrighted.

I’ll post more up later. Glad to see there is interest!

i’d like more.

OK, another one is uploaded. Go nuts!

So how do you do this, using Windows Media Player? I get a fairly small image and can find no way to change the size. Computer video is definitely not one of my strong points

I think you can right click inside the video window and set the image size from there. Look for a pop-out menu that says things like 50%, 100%, 200%, full screen…

In Windows media version 7, click View, then scroll to Zoom.

Beth, I found the audio on both files to be really low. Is this the same on your computer?

Yeah, the next time I capture from the tape I will boost it more. My system volume is typically very high on the speakers, and I adjust various applications seperately (mics muted, tv card high, wavs low, etc etc…) so lots of times I won’t notice if something is low volume coming in - since the speakers are cranked. I didn’t notice the problem with the video clip till I watched one from work today.

I forgive you

On a serious note. Beth, the time and energy you put on this board is amazing. Keep up the good work!

It’s worth it to hear people enjoying the clips, especially those who don’t have sessions nearby. I can sympathize with them!

ya… in future, can you help Brian with his wardrobe?

But I did - I helped to pleat the kilt sunday morning!

I think I helped pick out the flower crown, too.

Thanks for sharing the video clips Beth, I really enjoyed them.

HEY! Just what’s WRONG with my wardrobe?!
