Intensive 2 day Reed Making workshop

Hello all

As I mentioned a few months ago, I am going to try and get together a very intensive reed making workshop. I did this a couple of years ago, it was very successful and we had loads of fun. We have recently moved to Spruce Pine, North Carolina around 40 miles north of Asheville. There is a great retreat resort here that has offered to have the workshop there. Click here

Students will arrive on Friday night/afternoon. The workshop will be 9-5 on Saturday and 9-3 on Sunday. Workshops include all aspects of making reeds for chanters and drones, and fitting reeds to the chanter. I will be able to take 6 students. The of $400 fee will include all workshops, three nights lodging and meals for breakfast, light lunch and dinner.

Walking around the river and mountains talking to the bears is also included.

A $200.00 deposit is required to hold a reservation, $100.00 which is non refundable

The tentative dates or April 18-19 or April 25-26 or May 2-3. I will try to select one of those dates to fit everyones schedule.
