I might found a half set but the chanter is in Fsharp-C (i want one in D).
Is it possible to swap the C chanter with a D chanter without changing the drones???
And another question: does anybody knows about Uilleann pipe makers: “Hughes and MacLeod” ; and Cillian OBrien?

Yves, sorry but everything about a set of UPs is tuned to the drones. A C chanter goes with C drones, a D chanter goes with D drones, etc. Please read the FAQs on this board.
Also check some of the other recent threads on this board. It has been mentioned that neither of the pipemakers you have named seem to be taking orders. There are also a couple of threads offering pipes for sale, and threads that point to current sales of UPs on eBay.

I guess you can swap the chanter if you’re not playing the drones, right? I think i’ve seen this happen in a Lunacy concert. Of course if you’re playing the drones, then they have to be tuned to the same pitch as the chanter or it will sound even worse than normal!
