Inept marketing...

Where I work, cameras are prohibited on company property. This prohibition specifically includes cell phones with cameras. The other day, I received an advertisement from a wireless company which said, “For ______ Employees Only! Camera Phones: Buy One, Get One Free!”

My neighborhood gets a regular mailing of a dating service called “Great Expectations” (if they could only see the irony in that name).

The funny part is, our area is more than 90% married with children.

In the Army, I received a post card from a recruiter sent to

My Name
202 Military Intelligence Battalion,
Ft Gordon, GA

I sent the card back to indicate that I was interested and would like the free tee shirt offered. They sent me a tank top that said ARMY across the front that I still have.

What happened to the rest of the tank?

Slan,
D.

Ah, the old ‘bait & switch’. They probably gave each respondent only one piece of the tank.

They sent it to Iraq. That’s why there were all those news reports about soldiers having to scavenge armor for their vehicles.

Yeah, yeah… my bad. Thanks for the reminder.

:open_mouth:

They say that good things come in threes

more pizza boxes - sheesh!

[Homer] Mmm… pizza. [/Homer]

For a second I thought you had misspelled humour.

When I first read this, I thought it said that good things come in TREES. :stuck_out_tongue:

They do: apples, oranges, bananas, apricots, pineapples, lemons, pears, walnuts, squirrels, olives…

you forgot monkeys and magnolias

And coconuts and birds.

Maple syrup. Mmm…

And leaves.
