The rather verbose topic title says it all really. If anyone has found, or transcribed, the whistle part in dots or ABC I would love a copy. I have been asked if I would play this for a collaboration, and though it sounds do-able it is completely new to me therefore would take a lot of listening to get it by ear. I would rather speed up the process with some notation first…

Edit : added later : I’ve checked my old books and searched around … looks like this tune was never published … I did have an Incredible String Band sheet-music book, way back when, the one that had been transcribed by Happy Traum … can’t find it now, probably got loaned out, as these things do … I don’t think this tune was in there anyway

Back in the days before e-mail I wrote a letter or two to the man, and got nice replies. I can’t remember for the life of me remember what they were about now … but I know it left the impression that he’s a very nice man.
