In Wolf's Cave

Someone’s spilt their coffee on that, haven’t they?

I believe it was a hot chocolate with whipped cream.

With a bit of cream. What other brand could it be?

Starbucks of course.

Tell me, does Starbucks ‘coffee’ in the States taste like a mixture of burnt plastic and hot tar? Just interested …

of course, Howard has a strong devotion to product consistency.

if it’s worth roasting, burn it!

Please don’t talk to me about its consistency. I haven’t long had me lunch.

sorry :sniffle:

I’m off ta make breakfast then

We call it “Charbucks” for good reason. I’m not certain, but I suspect their mission statement says something about making sure they appear to know nothing about coffee, 'cause they’re dong a fine job at that.

Honestly, just on taste alone I’m surprised the franchise has lasted as long as it has.

You folks don’t know what you’re talking about. I love Starbucks, I go to a Starbucks at least three times a week. I have my own mug, my own tea, and the hot water is free. I can drive from here on the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast and every Starbucks I stop at will do the same thing for me all the way across the country. I got my wife a poppy seed muffin from there one time too, she liked it. So if I lose my free and easy hot water because you guys drive the company under I ain’t going to be happy.
