In Seattle 5/2 - 5/7

I’ll be in Seattle this Sunday through next Friday for a Microsoft conference. Planning on coming to the following sessions:

Sunday: Fado in the afternoon, Old Peculiar in the evening
Thursday: Celtic Bayou (Redmond)

I’ll have my 3/4 Lynch set with me.

Any other suggestions for sessions? I’m free all nights except Wednesday. I’ll have a car so even an hour or so out of town is a possibility…

Cheers and thanks,

Michael

Howdy,
Check out http://www.sessionsnw.com/ for a list of sessions in the area. There’s supposed to be a fairly new session in Renton (south end of Lake Washington) at the Giant’s Causeway pub on Tuesday evenings.

Cheers,
John

Hi Michael

I was hoping to see your new set at the monthly SCUPC gathering at Gaby’s this Sunday. I guess I will have to wait till the June gathering.

I saw the set on the internext last week. Very Nice.

Enjoy the Tionol.

Thanks for the tip on the Renton session, I’ve sent a message to the pub to confirm… Anyone have any comments on the Fado or Old Peculiar sessions? I’m hoping to run into Phil White, is he still around?

I’m looking forward to the Celtic Bayou again on Thursday, had a fun time there last time I was in town except this time I’ll have my whole set and not just the practice set…

I’ll be in Seattle again this Sunday, plan to go to the Fado afternoon session. Probably have my 3/4 Lynch set. Is there still a Sunday evening session at the Old Peculiar?

Thanks for any info,

Michael

Hi Michael,

How’s it going? Are you planning to head up for our wonderful upcoming tionol in Feburary? Should be good…
