Pardon the oddity of this observation, but I was so excited that I had to share. Just trying my best to be poststructural.
Can you do circular breathing to play your whistle? You will need it for this bit: ||: GDGA GDGA :||. It works much better on pipes, where you can hit the bass line with the regs and sing over top. Lyrics such as, “And you may ask yourself, ‘How do I work this?’” become so much more apropos when you’re playing pipes.

Surprisingly, that lyric still works well for me playing whistle. But I’m improving!
