I'm sorry if I couldn't spell Joanie.

:-/

No. I’m the one who spelled it J-o-h-n.

At least you didn’t get called “insufferable”.

I’ve been called worse.

I have, too, so I guess I should just get over it.

Thanks, Walden.

What did I miss?

There was a very renowned whistle player in chat and I didn’t know who she was and I misspelled her name so she called me insufferable and then left.

Maybe it’s just the wrong time of the month…

I think it was a hoax.

You need some rhubarb pie.

(That would be Beebopareebop Rhubarb Pie.)

Hmmm… something about that story just doesn’t quite fly.
It sounds like a cheap shot taken by someone who’d rather not let their true identlty be known.
Now who do we know around here that would do something like that?

Jerry, how’d you know I love rhubarb pie?

Ever listen to Prairie Home Companion?

Quote @ myself

In case this wasn’t clear (I just realised it might not be), I know who she is, I just didn’t know who she was in chat.

Ever listen to Prairie Home Companion?

Nope. Is that an IrTrad song?

No, it’s Garrison Keillor’s radio show. They do music and skits and stuff. And they have ads for imaginary products, like Beebopareebop Rhubarb Pie.

Here’s an example. It’s a radio script; the initials are the various radio actors:

Best wishes,

I was getting lost in all that until I saw

“But one little thing can revive a guy, And that is home-made rhubarb pie. Serve it up, nice and hot. Maybe things aren’t as bad as you thought.”

at the bottom. Thanks.

Now I want some -real- rhubarb pie, though. LOL.

Well you ARE insufferable at times, as am I, but I doubt it was the Great One. This happened before about a year ago…I think its Bloomfield.
“Its Always (About) Bloomfield” with his sneaky monikers. Especially if it was about dinnertime back East.

Oh, I know we’re -all- insufferable sometimes, but I know I wasn’t being insufferable earlier. Walden and serpent would agree, I think (I hope).

I emailed her via their website saying I was sorry for getting the name wrong(spelled with 2 n’s instead of 1), but it replied unable to read until October 8.

I don’t think it was Bloomfield. He’s too tasteful for that.

Sigh, oh well.

–edited to change the word “hop” to “hope”. That was funny.

Or ketchup, with its natural mellowing agents.
