Just got back home from the Great American Road Trip about an hour ago. Despite the fact that I landed in the hospital with accute bronchitis withing 24 hours of hitting Lincoln City, OR, (more on that later) it was a fabulous trip. Yellowstone was even more breathtaking than I remember.
I took a lot of pictures (and whistled in a lot of places!), and I’ll try to post them tomorrow or the next day. I’m a bit tired right now (12 hours of driving today…yikes!), and as soon as I hit the door I learned of the death of a dear friend, so I’m just not up to it at the moment.
How’s everybody here…did I miss anything exciting?
Didn’t miss much, Willie Clancy Week was great fun for the lucky folk who got went (including me!), and most of them are still travelling round Ireland. Beth’s back in the Sligo/Dongegal area, but visiting me in late August for a few days in London.
Good to see you again, post those pics when you can!
Glad you’re back, Redwolf. Can’t wait to see the pics. Very sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost one of my best friends last year. You and yours and your friend’s family will be in my prayers.
