When I was struggling with making pastoral reeds, I got hold of some French
cane ( approx 24mm) that seems rock hard - fingernail impression leaves nothing.
Is this stuff of use to expert reedmakers? Anyone willing to swap say,
five or six tubes of gentlye forgiving Spanish in it’s place?
