If I were to covet a bamboo flute......

which flute would you folks recommend. I would want the flute to be left-handed and in concert pitch. The key wouldn’t matter but the lower the key the better. I have normal sized man hands. I’m not in the market to buy one now but I would like to focus my coveting energies to something more specific. Thanks.

Olwell

That failing, a billy miller flute.
You can talk to the maker about making it for you lefty.

Would it behoove you folks to add links and/or photos? I am lazy and used to significant pampering.

Geez! Look what the Internet has done to people. If Patrick Olwell doesn’t think he needs a website, that’s good enough for me. You can check Patrick’s eBay auctions regularly. While it is not a bamboo flute on auction this week, they do come up once in a while. Have a look.

Olwell cane flutes are just terrific things. You’ll not be disappointed. It’s an Olwell but you might need an oil well to pay for it. They’ve been going for a hefty price lately. Darned supply/demand paradigm!

Eeh, excuse me?

You sort of mean that you want a single malt whisky but the type of grain wouldn’t matter as long as it’s a
whisky

You’re the expert on that subject Henke. There are those people who need to know all kinds of things about spirits. I just needed to know a spirit tasted good. Gin was my preference back in those days.
