eewwwww, decaf. Poor ad! I was watching the Weather Channel this morning (yes, I am weird like that) and was wondering how you were doing in all the ice. I’m glad to know that you at least have power! Hope it all ends soon for you and all you south easterners!
UGA campus is iced over pretty well, and there’s a nice dusting of useless powdery snow over everything too. No buses running today, but they’ve still got the dining halls open, thankfully. I feel sorry for the employees though.
I called in Sunday to get a report from my sister in the Atlanta area. They had the fireplace going and her husband had set up a big clear plastic tub (like you’d store clothes in) with a prop and some bait. He and the kids were trying to trap birds by pulling the prop away with a string. Their first capture was a towhee. When I checked in later they had also gotten a squirrel. (They let them go right away.)

Bummer TSam! My kids were hoping for a cancellation too… but most of the ice here was gone by early yesterday afternoon.
