Hii i want to buy the freeman’s bluebird in D key .. but i will order it from uk .. :S on whistleshop it says :Orders outside the U.S. must be for a minimum of $30.00 in merchandise. … and the whistle is $27 :S so i can’t order it ! … and recently i checked the ebay store http://stores.ebay.com/freemanwhistles .. and i found the bluebird ( the nickel one ! ) has changed into Freeman Whistle Tweaked brass D Generation Tin Penny … with red mouth piece and yellow brass tube :S so nw I am confused ! is it the same bluebird or what :S ? plz help me asap !
It’s not the same. I’m sure Jerry will come and explain, and you should be able to order one from him, as I did.
In the meantime, I can tell you that my adult student wanted to get a Bluebird like mine, and she asked her husband to order it for her since he has a PayPal account. He went on ebay and ordered the closest thing he could find, and she now has a tweaked brass Generation with a red top. It doesn’t sound the same as a Bluebird…
As Peewit said, they’re not the same. But be a little patient and Jerry will be along soon to work it all out for you.
He’s probably getting in some quality mouse time.
The Bluebird isn’t listed on my eBay store. What you see there are tweaked nickel Generations, which look similar, but are voiced differently.
I’m happy to sell them directly. Postage for one to three whistles ordered at the same time anywhere in the world is $6.00. The total for a Bluebird to the UK (or anywhere else) is $28.50 plus $6.00 = $34.50.
PayPal is fine. jerry and then the symbol for “at” tcenet(dot)net is my PayPal email address.

Why not try another tactic. Yes Jerry is a member here and yes Jerry has an eBay store. Wouldn’t it be neat if you could message him through either of those places.

The Freeman tweaked Gens are not the same as the Bluebird but they are really nice Gens, IMO.
