This might help, The 1st X =thumb hole, small x and o = closed and open keys. Last x = end of chanter closed

I assume that the chart shown earlier in this thread was for half holing to get some of the accidentals. Can someone explain what there are more symbols than I have fingers or holes to put them over?

I believe they represent fingering for additional keys on the chanter.
